How to sell bundles on eBay
Bundling is the fastest way to clear slow eBay stock and lift your average order value. This guide covers the listing, the photos, the pricing and the one step everyone forgets — keeping stock in sync.
The four steps to a bundle that sells
1. Pick the right items
The best bundles combine slow-moving stock with complementary items buyers would want together — same category, matching accessories, or a complete kit. Avoid bundling your best sellers; bundles exist to move stock that won't shift alone.
2. Create the listing
Use a fixed-price listing. Put 'bundle', 'set' or 'kit' in the title, list every included item in the description, and state quantities clearly. Vague bundle listings are the number-one cause of 'not as described' cases.
3. Add strong photos
eBay allows up to 24 photos free. Lead with one clear shot showing everything in the bundle, then add an individual photo of each item. Buyers buy bundles on trust — photos are how you earn it.
4. Keep stock in sync
When a bundle sells, the single listings for those items must be ended or revised immediately, or you'll oversell. This is the step most sellers get wrong when doing it manually — and the main reason to use a tool.
How to price an eBay bundle
Start with the realistic selling price of each item on its own — check sold listings, not asking prices. Add them up, then discount 10–20%. The buyer should feel they're getting a deal; you should still net more than selling singles once you factor in separate final value fees, postage and time.
Example: three items that realistically sell at £20 each = £60 of singles value. Price the bundle at £50–£54. One final value fee, one parcel, one sale — instead of three of each.

Can you sell bundles on eBay?
Yes. eBay fully supports bundle listings — you create a single listing containing several related items at one combined price. There is no special 'bundle' listing type; a bundle is simply a fixed-price listing whose title, photos and description make clear what's included.
Is selling bundles on eBay worth it?
For most sellers, yes. Bundles raise your average order value, clear slow-moving stock that won't shift on its own, and face less competition in search because fewer listings target the same combination. Fees also work in your favour: one final value fee on a £60 bundle beats three separate fees on three £20 singles.
How many photos can an eBay bundle listing have?
eBay allows up to 24 photos per listing for free. Best practice for bundles: one clear lead photo showing everything included, then individual photos of each item. BundleForge generates a composite bundle image and attaches each item's main photo automatically.
How do I price a bundle on eBay?
Add up the realistic selling price of each item, then discount 10–20% to make the bundle feel like a deal while still beating what you'd net from selling singles after fees and time. Check sold listings for similar combinations to sense-check the price.
What happens to my single listings when an item sells in a bundle?
Nothing automatically — eBay doesn't link listings together, which is why stock syncing matters. If an item sells inside a bundle, its single listing must be ended or revised quickly or you'll oversell. BundleForge handles this stock sync for you.
